Hidroaysen

Someday I went to my dance class, after the English class, two or three weeks ago, and my eyes started to pain so much, I was so scared because then I couldn’t breathe, I didn’t know what was happening, and then I remembered that, that day was the voting about hidroaysen, and I realized that the project had been approved.

I couldn’t believe it, because I really hate this project, and I think that many persons think like me. I think that a hydroelectric power station is a good idea, but this project is terrible. I can’t imagine the Chilean Patagonia with high tension cables, it will be terrible! In that case they should build the cables under the ground but they will not do it because it’s so expensive, but the Patagonia’s beauty is worth it.

The worst part is that people that live there will not have any benefit, and either the rest of the population in Chile all the energy will be busy by large firms.

I think that everybody criticize the project but no one do anything for save energy, criticize is so easy, but it doesn’t help, we must think about it and act.

Hydroelectric power stations are so much better than thermoelectric power stations, but it doesn’t mean that hidroaysen is a good project, it have many problems that we can’t accept.

Valdivia!

Here you can see the botanical garden of the “Universidad Austral de Chile” in Valdivia. I took this photo on May 17^th  at my best friend’s birthday. This year for the first time, we had vacations on May so I went to Puerto Varas to visit my family. My best friend studies in the UACH in Valdivia, that it’s located three hours north of Puerto Varas, so I went there for the day.

He showed me the whole university, and it’s so beautiful. I love my university but when I know this one I couldn’t believe it. It is located on an island in the center of the city so you can see the Calle-calle river in the whole university and it’s so awesome!

Inside the university there is a botanical garden that is an awesome place, there are the most beautiful color that I’ve ever seen, I don’t like autumn very much because I hate to be cold, but I love the colors it have, I love to see the leaves falling from the trees and that’s why I love this photo, I love the way it shows the magic of the place, seeing this photo I could remember the sound of the trees moving because of the wind, even I can smell the wet ground again.

The strike!

Well, I’m really afraid of it because it affects me directly, i have three little brothers and they go to school, my father can’t pay their school and my career, so I need to pay it with student loans. The 80% of my career is paid by the “fondo solidario” loan, and the rest of it is paid by the “crédito con aval del estado”, so I have to pay only $40.000, I can’t afford to pay more. One of the items of the strike, talks about the loans, because students will not have the “fondo solidario” loan anymore and that’s too bad for me.

In spite I’m afraid for my future, I’m more afraid for the demonstration because I hate to be in places with too much people, and always something goes wrong, many persons get hurt, some people start to fight with the police and I really hate it!

I think the government should spend more resources for the university education because it affects many people, I think is very unfair that some students can’t study because they can’t afford to pay their careers; they are the future of the country!

My Favorite Web Site

Well I don’t know too much about web sites but I really like GrooveShark, because I love listening to music and sometimes I don’t have my music with me and it’s a good solution for it. The bad side is that if you don’t have internet, you can’t listening to music, but it couldn’t be perfect. I prefer to have my music I my notebook, and in my cell phone but if I don’t have them, I use GrooveShark.

I discovered it by a friend, someday I went to her house to work and I wanted to listen to a song that I had in my notebook but I didn’t have my notebook in this moment so she told me about this page and y could listen to my song. Since this day I look for all my favorites songs there.

I don’t visit it frequently, because I have my music saved in my notebook, but every time I don’t have it, I visit GrooveShark, I think it is one or two times a month.

I think it’s special because there’s no other page where I can listen to music online, and if there are, I don’t know, it’s like YouTube but you don’t have to see de video, and because of it, it’s more speed and you can create a music list, so you don’t spend time, I really love this page!

My favourite song in english

The first time i heared this song was in a friend’s house, the last year, while we were doing a workshop work. We were so sleepy and we had to continue working, so we started listening to music and then this song strarted to sound, we both love it in this moment and we couldn’t stop listening to it. I like it very mush because it talks about women beating and how womens acept it because they are afraid, but there are other diferents cases, the song talks about a women that acept the violence of her husband because she loves him and she loves their relationship the way it is, that’s why the songs name is “ I love the way you lie”. It makes me think about what love really is, it means you have to acept anything from your boyfriend? I think the answer is no, I can love someone very much but my hapiness and my self-esteem in over anything, if my boyfriend cant respect me, he cant love me.

This son song is a mixing of rap and pop, because it is sung by two singers so it have som parts of rap and others of pop, and I think it’s a very good mix.

I LIKE my notebook

This little piece of plastic has eventually became one of my favourite S (favorite) tecnology S (technology)  items. With it  i can write, watch movies, listen to some ramdom music, draw my architecture proyects S (projects), play, communicate, and a lot more.
I got it a few years ago, when my parents decided to buy me one WW (buy me it), with the main purpouse S (purpose) of working at school. It  always  λ  (it is always) a great gift because it keeps you connected with almost everything happening around there, in the world ( ).
i think the very first time i tried to use one, was when a was S (when I was) in 5th grade, i was really existed, and eveything S (everything)  i did was playing "solitario". I konw S (know) its P (it’s) quite boring, but then the planet was different, and normal people used to have fun with that.
Now things are a bit different, computers have become like ( ) a part of our life, and there are people who couldn't be able to live without them, even more now with those facebook or twitter things. In my particular case, i use it to work on my architecture proyects S (projects) and chat with friends. Its P (it’s) also, useful when you have nothing better to do and then look for funny things to share on facebook. Its P (it’s) fun to have one, but sometimes handmade proyects S (projects) are so much better!!!

My notebook!!

My favorite piece of technology is my notebook, I got it by jobbing in the summer and my father gave me some help too. I buy it 2 years ago, in July of 2009, before it, I used to use my uncle’s computer, and it wasn’t very nice because I had to wait she to finished using it to do my university works, and the computer was not so good.

I use my notebook every day and a lot of hours a day, because I have so many work to do for the university, and I used it to talk with my family that live in Puerto Varas, I don’t like to use the telephone, so internet is a good way for me to communicate with them. I like my notebook so much because it is very fast so I don’t have any problem to do my work, before I have it I had too many problems because architecture programs need a lot of memory and the other people doesn’t have this kind of computers.

My notebook is a very important part of my career, without it I wouldn’t be able to do my work, it came to save my life!!!
